Successfully shaping the Environment     Under this slogan the German Asia Pacific Society will hold its DAPG India Forum 2008 on 19 June in Cologne. This industry forum for entrepreneurs and consultant professionals from Germany and abroad will focus on the market for renewable energies in India. Experts will talk about current strategies for financing and securing projects. The topic "Global sourcing India" will be discussed in parallel within a separate panel.   Cooperations- and Informationspartner India has realized the strategic importance of Renewable Energy early on and has its separate Ministry of New and Renewable Energies since 1992. In particular with regard to the improvement of rural infrastructure and development, the country uses Renewables as a strategic option and has provided legal and financial instruments to shape a market which is highly attractive for German companies and not just for Solar & Co. After all, building technology and plant engineering and construction can score points with innovative concepts, too. German mid-sized enterprises, the pace makers of the German export industry and pushing innovators in the renewable energy sector are wondering, whether the boom in India will last.
